My obsession.

3 Aug

I’ve been test driving cookbooks from the library before I buy them, and after reading Ad Hoc at Home by Thomas Keller, it moved up to the top of my wish list.  Maybe if I’m a good girl, someone will take me next door to Napa and I’ll get to try the dishes firsthand.  *ahem, cough cough Tim cough*

what a great idea! I have never thought of borrowing cookbooks from the library. I got frustrated with books and use blogs now (where you can ask a question if anything is not clear, or it didn’t turn out as expected) – but I will definitely go and check out the cookbook section there now!

Love the idea of August break! And the pictures you’ve shared so far are awesome…so glad the month is just beginning! 🙂

Ooh, I’ll have to check this one out! I love cooking. When I don’t have to do it. I love fun, experimental, having-friends-over cooking. I hate the day to day slog of necessary cooking.

I think I’m a rarity. I will go through periods of time where I take a week off of cooking, but in general, I get excited to create something new every night. I keep asking my husband what it’s like to be married to someone like me – he’s so damn lucky. Ha! 🙂
